Alix Gillece

Integrative Counsellor and Art Pyschotherapist

Welcome,

I am an Integrative Counsellor with a B.A. (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and Art Psychotherapy. I work with individuals and groups who may be navigating experiences such as anxiety, depression, grief, body image concerns, relationship difficulties, and the impact of mental health diagnoses.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can slow down, explore what is going on for you, and begin to make sense of your experiences at your own pace.

I believe each person’s story is unique, and I work in a collaborative, client-led way, meaning therapy is shaped around what feels most important for you. Alongside talking therapy, I often integrate creative approaches and elements of art therapy where helpful. This can offer another way of expressing and exploring experiences that may be difficult to put into words, while always remaining flexible to what suits you best.

Alongside my counselling training, I have a background in visual arts and experience working with children, both of which continue to influence the way I understand expression, communication, and emotional development.

My aim is to support you in deepening self-understanding, finding ways to cope that feel more supportive, and creating space for growth, healing, and connection.
